About LE GRUYERE

Le Gruyere from Mifroma, a Swiss dairy cooperative, made with fresh part-skim cow's milk, cheese culture, salt, and enzymes -- reflecting the traditional Swiss AOC approach to Gruyere production. Per 100 g: 429 calories, 32.1 g fat, 28.6 g protein, and no carbohydrates. Gruyere is a firm, aged Swiss cheese characterized by its complex nutty, sweet, and slightly grainy flavor that intensifies with aging. It melts exceptionally well, making it the cornerstone of fondue, French onion soup, and Croque Monsieur. The part-skim milk base still yields a rich cheese due to extended aging and moisture loss. No artificial additives or colors. Naturally gluten-free; contains dairy. Enzyme source typical for Swiss production is animal-derived. A premium imported cheese with strong culinary versatility and an excellent flavor-to-protein ratio.
