About LACTOSE FREE 2% REDUCED FAT MILK
Our Family Lactose Free 2% Reduced Fat Milk is standard reduced-fat milk treated with lactase enzyme to break down the lactose into its component sugars, glucose and galactose. A 240-milliliter serving provides 50 calories, 3.33 grams of protein, 5 grams of carbohydrates, and 2.08 grams of fat. The product is fortified with vitamins A palmitate and D3. Lactase treatment results in a slightly sweeter taste than regular milk because the simple sugars that replace lactose register as sweeter on the palate, even though the calorie and carbohydrate content is the same.
Ingredients
REDUCED-FAT MILK, LACTASE ENZYME*, VITAMIN A PALMITATE, VITAMIN D3.
