Food Club vanilla ice cream draws sweetness from three sources: sugar, corn syrup, and high fructose corn syrup. Milkfat and nonfat milk supply the dairy base, with buttermilk and whey rounding it out. Several stabilizers and emulsifiers, including guar gum, locust bean gum, carrageenan, and polysorbate 80, keep the texture consistent through temperature changes.
