Prairie Farms Bacon Cheddar Dip is made from milk and cream as the base, thickened with nonfat dry milk, sodium phosphate, guar gum, carrageenan, calcium sulfate, and carob bean gum, flavored with a seasoning base containing salt, hydrolyzed corn protein, autolyzed yeast extract, natural smoke flavor, torula yeast, monosodium glutamate, dehydrated onion and garlic, artificial cheese flavor from whey with Yellow 5 and Red 40, and bacon chiplets made from soy flour and partially hydrogenated soybean oil with caramel color and natural flavor. A 30g serving provides 200 calories, 3.33g protein, 6.67g carbs, and 16.67g fat. The bacon chiplets in this formulation are soy-based rather than actual bacon, providing the visual appearance and some flavor of bacon bits without pork.
