Whipped cream cheese spread from Spartan, a McIlhenny Company brand. Made with pasteurized milk and cream, cheese culture, salt, stabilizers (carob bean gum, xanthan gum, and/or guar gum), and natamycin (a natural mold inhibitor). Per 100g: 350 kcal, 5.0g protein, 5.0g carbohydrate, 35.0g fat, 0g fiber. High in fat, as expected for cream cheese. The whipped format incorporates air, reducing density and making it easier to spread directly from the refrigerator. Natamycin is a naturally derived antifungal agent from fermentation. Contains dairy. Not suitable for dairy-free or vegan diets. Use as a bagel spread, in dips, cheesecakes, and frosting. A budget store-brand alternative to national cream cheese brands.
