Freshness Guaranteed Frosted Sugar Cookies in this version use Red 40 Lake, Red 40, Yellow 6, Blue 1 Lake, and Yellow 5 Lake as the dye system with confectioner's glaze (shellac), carnauba wax, and dextrin for surface finish. Both soy lecithin and sunflower lecithin are used as emulsifiers. The cookie base uses bleached enriched flour, margarine (palm and soybean oils), eggs, and nonfat milk. Carrageenan and cellulose gum stabilize the frosting. Sodium propionate is the preservative.
