About FROSTED SHREDDED WHEAT
Our Family Frosted Shredded Wheat layers a coating of sugar over whole grain wheat biscuits, transforming an otherwise high-fiber, minimal-ingredient cereal into something considerably sweeter. The base ingredient, whole grain wheat, brings a solid fiber content, but the sugar frosting adds meaningfully to the calorie load. BHT is included as a preservative. If the whole grain benefits appeal, plain shredded wheat without the frosting offers a less sugary version of essentially the same product.
Ingredients
WHOLE GRAIN WHEAT, SUGAR, GELATIN. BHT ADDED TO PRESERVE FRESHNESS. VITAMINS AND MINERALS: REDUCED IRON, NIACINAMIDE (VITAMIN B3), FOLIC ACID, ZINC OXIDE (SOURCE OF ZINC), PYRIDOXINE HYDROCHLORIDE (VITAMIN B6), RIBOFLAVIN (VITAMIN B2), THIAMIN MONONITRATE (VITAMIN B1), VITAMIN B12.
