About EVAPORATED MILK
Carnation Evaporated Milk is a pantry classic made by removing roughly half the water from whole milk and stabilizing it with dipotassium phosphate and carrageenan. The result is a concentrated, creamy liquid with a gently cooked, slightly caramelized flavor that makes it invaluable in pie fillings, sauces, soups, and baked goods. It is richer than fresh milk without the cost or perishability of cream. Vitamin D3 is added for nutritional fortification.
