Hawaiian Punch Snow Cone Syrup is high fructose corn syrup colored red with Red 40 and thinned out with water. Brominated vegetable oil and glycerol ester of wood rosin serve as emulsifiers to keep the artificial flavors evenly distributed. Sodium benzoate preserves the shelf life. There is no nutritional value beyond concentrated sugar calories. It exists to make shaved ice red and sweet, and it does exactly that without pretending to be anything more wholesome.
