Meijer Neapolitan Vanilla Chocolate and Strawberry Flavored Ice Cream is a standard-sized three-flavor ice cream from Meijer, Inc., the Grand Rapids, Michigan Midwest supercenter. Made with milk, cream, buttermilk, whey, corn syrup, and high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), with alkalized cocoa for the chocolate layer. The strawberry layer uses strawberry juice concentrate and cherry juice concentrate rather than whole fruit.
HFCS is present as a sweetener alongside corn syrup. The artificial dyes Red 40 and Blue 1 are used for color, along with annatto extract and caramel color as natural colorants. The strawberry flavor is constructed from juice concentrates and natural/artificial flavors rather than actual strawberries.
