Meijer Mushroom Organic Pasta Sauce is a certified organic jarred pasta sauce from Meijer, Inc., the Grand Rapids, Michigan Midwest supercenter. The sauce is made from organic tomato puree and organic diced tomatoes in tomato juice, with organic mushrooms, organic extra virgin olive oil, organic sugar, sea salt, and organic herbs and aromatics: onions, garlic, parsley, basil, and oregano.
The entire ingredient list is certified organic with the exception of sea salt. No preservatives, artificial colors, artificial flavors, HFCS, soybean oil, or any synthetic additives are used. This is one of the cleanest pasta sauce formulations in the Meijer lineup. No allergens beyond the possibility of trace cross-contamination are declared. The product is suitable for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and organic dietary patterns.
At 57 calories per 100 grams with 9.84 g of carbohydrates, 1.64 g each of protein and fat, and 1.60 g of fiber, this sauce is very low in calories and fat.
