Similac Alimentum Advance with ARA and DHA from Abbott is the newer formulation of the hypoallergenic ready-to-feed line, adding the brain- and eye-development fatty acids that have become standard in premium infant formulas. Protein is casein hydrolysate, making it suitable for infants with cow's milk protein allergy. Fat includes medium-chain triglycerides for ease of absorption. The calorie density and macronutrient ratios are essentially identical to the original Alimentum, with ARA and DHA as the main distinguishing addition.
