About GRAPE JELLY, GRAPE
Valu Time Grape Jelly is built from Concord grape concentrate, which gives it that deep, characteristic grape flavor, but the sweetener base leans heavily on high fructose corn syrup and corn syrup rather than fruit sugar alone. Additional sugar, water, pectin, and citric acid round out the formula. The classic Concord grape character is there, bold and slightly tart under the sweetness, but the reliance on multiple corn-derived sweeteners is worth noting for those tracking added sugar intake. Functional and familiar, but not a particularly clean product.
Ingredients
CONCORD GRAPE CONCENTRATE, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, CORN SYRUP, WATER, SUGAR, PECTIN, CITRIC ACID (ADDED AS A PRESERVATIVE ONLY).
