Clear Value's Chocolate Syrup is built on high fructose corn syrup and corn syrup as its first two ingredients, with cocoa appearing further down. The result is extremely sugar-forward with only a faint cocoa character. There's no fiber and virtually no protein. Polysorbate 60, xanthan gum, and mono- and diglycerides give it the thick, pourable consistency. Vanillin rounds out the flavor. It's drizzle-on-ice-cream syrup, nothing more - sweet, chocolaty, and entirely about indulgence.
