Eillien's Chocolate Flavored Coating Almond Bark is not chocolate in a technical sense. It's sugar and hydrogenated palm kernel oil as the base, colored and flavored with alkalized cocoa powder, with nonfat dry milk and soy lecithin completing the formula. No cocoa butter means it's a compound coating rather than real chocolate. Very high in sugar and fat, with no fiber. It melts and sets cleanly for dipping or bark-making, which is its purpose, and it's priced accordingly. Flavor is mildly chocolatey and very sweet.
