Marketside Birthday Cake Pops are a ready-to-eat confection item sold under Walmart's Marketside brand, which covers freshly prepared and artisan-style foods sold in Walmart's in-store marketplace sections. The cake pop consists of a cake mix base (granulated sugar, bleached enriched wheat flour, nonfat dry milk, modified food starch, soybean and/or canola oil, mono- and diglycerides, salt, leavening, soy flour, dried egg whites, natural and artificial flavors), water, and a white chocolate flavored confectionery coating. The coating is made from sugar, palm kernel oil, whey, nonfat dry milk, vegetable fat (palm and palm kernel oil), soy lecithin, and natural flavors. The product also contains egg, powdered sugar, white nonpareils (sugar, corn starch, shellac, carnauba wax), palm shortening in two forms (regular and hydrogenated), soybean oil, natural and artificial flavor, potassium sorbate, salt, Red 40 Lake, and artificial flavor.
