Abuelita Authentic Mexican Hot Chocolate is a tablet-based chocolate mix made from sugar, chocolate, soy lecithin, vegetable oils, artificial flavor, and PGPR as an emulsifier. A 23-gram tablet serving provides 435 calories per 100 grams, 4.35 grams of protein, 78.26 grams of carbohydrates, and 15.22 grams of fat. The tablets are designed to be broken and dissolved in hot milk rather than water, following the traditional Mexican hot chocolate preparation method. PGPR replaces some of the cocoa butter in the formulation and helps the chocolate dissolve smoothly.
