Alpine Valley sugar-free gummi bears made with maltitol syrup, gelatin, lactic acid, citric acid, and artificial flavors, with aspartame as an additional sweetener. A 20g serving provides 250 calories per 100g, 5g protein, and 75g carbohydrates, with no fat. The carbohydrates are primarily from maltitol, a sugar alcohol that has a lower glycemic impact than regular sugar but still provides calories. The protein comes from gelatin. Note: maltitol-based candies can have a laxative effect in larger quantities. Contains aspartame (relevant for PKU).
