About SUCRALOSE
Equal Sucralose packets use sucralose as the active sweetener, bulked up with dextrose and maltodextrin to give the powder its granular, pourable quality. Despite the bulking agents contributing trace carbohydrates, the per-serving amount is small enough that the product is marketed as zero-calorie. Sucralose is about 600 times sweeter than sugar and is heat-stable, making these packets suitable for both beverages and baking, unlike some other sweeteners.
