The Hunger Smart line from Abbott uses a similar base to Glucerna, with milk protein concentrate, alkalized cocoa, fructose, and a range of fiber sources including soy fiber and short-chain fructooligosaccharides. Fiber content is strikingly high for a ready-to-drink shake, which is by design for satiety. Fat comes from high-oleic safflower, canola, and soy oils. Protein is solid. Calories are kept moderate. The chocolate flavor benefits from real cocoa powder, making it taste less synthetic than some competitors. It's honestly one of the better-formulated drinks in this batch if the goal is sustained fullness rather than pure calorie loading.
