Dean's Reduced Fat Fudge Swirl Ice Cream is a lower-fat alternative to premium ice cream, made with milkfat and nonfat milk, sugar, corn syrup, and buttermilk, with a chocolate fudge swirl of corn syrup, alkalized cocoa, and high fructose corn syrup. Per 100g it provides 175 calories, 4.8g protein, 28.6g carbohydrates, and 5.6g fat -- meaningfully lower fat than full-fat ice cream. Propylene glycol monoester, mono and diglycerides, guar gum, cellulose gum, and carrageenan replace the textural contribution of fat. Contains milk. Vitamin A palmitate is added to compensate for fat reduction. A family-friendly frozen dessert for those monitoring fat intake.
