The formulation uses chicken stock as the base, thickened with modified corn starch and emulsified with chicken fat. Secondary ingredients include wheat flour, dried whey, maltodextrin, onion powder, yeast extract, hydrolyzed soy protein, and disodium inosinate and guanylate — nucleotide salts that synergize with glutamates to amplify savory umami character. Color is provided by paprika extractives, turmeric extractives, and caramel color. Dried egg yolk adds richness, and lactic acid and citric acid balance the flavor.
