The exclusive use of durum wheat semolina as the base grain, without added fillers, emulsifiers, or binders, positions this product within the traditional Italian pasta style. The iron enrichment uses ferrous lactate, an organic iron form, rather than the inorganic ferrous sulfate found in standard Kroger pasta products.
