Great Value Crunchy Peanut Butter Energy Bars (organic formulation) are a reformulated version of the Great Value energy bar using predominantly organic-certified ingredients and a more comprehensive vitamin and mineral fortification package. The organic formulation replaces conventional brown rice syrup with organic brown rice syrup, uses organic rolled oats, organic cane syrup, organic peanut butter (ground peanuts only, no additives), organic invert cane sugar, organic roasted soybeans, organic toasted oats (with mixed tocopherols as natural antioxidants), organic peanuts, organic soy flour, and adds psyllium seed husk — a soluble fiber source associated with cholesterol management and digestive health — and organic oat fiber. The vitamin blend is comprehensive: magnesium phosphate, dicalcium phosphate, ascorbic acid, vitamin E (dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate), niacinamide, ergocalciferol (vitamin D2), vitamin A acetate, B6, B1, B2, and B12. This product contains peanuts and soy allergens. At 382 calories per 100 grams with 16.18 grams protein, 11.76 grams fat, and 5.9 grams fiber, the organic variant has slightly lower protein but higher fat than the conventional formulation.
