About ALMOND TOFFEE, DARK CHOCOLATE
Enstrom Dark Chocolate Almond Toffee starts with butter, sugar, and almonds - a traditional English toffee base - then coats it in semisweet chocolate made from unsweetened chocolate, sugar, cocoa butter, and vanilla. Sunflower lecithin replaces soy in both the toffee and the chocolate. Fat is very high, driven by butter and the chocolate coating. Sugar is substantial. Almonds add a little fiber and genuine nuttiness beneath the crunch of the toffee. This is a luxury confection made with recognizable ingredients, not a health item - but at least the ingredient list is honest about what it is.
