Corn syrup and sugar sit at the top of Ensure Advanced Therapeutic Nutrition in vanilla, with a layered protein system of milk protein concentrate, sodium caseinate, soy protein, short-chain fructooligosaccharides, calcium HMB, and whey protein concentrate. Canola and corn oils provide fat. This is essentially the vanilla counterpart to the milk chocolate Advanced Nutrition Shake, with similar caloric density and the same muscle-maintenance additions. The carbohydrate load is high relative to standard shakes, and the protein contribution is substantial. Intended for clinical or therapeutic use where caloric and protein density both matter.
